Brief rundown

Chopt is a semi-OC for From Software's Souls series based on my own playthroughs of the games.  Her experiences through them are based on my own.  Her backstory is that she is a girl of the modern age, unpopular, weak-willed, and bullied who attempted to summon demons to get revenge on those that wronged her, only to mistakenly summon herself to their realm instead.  Trapped and tortured both mentally and physically, she inexplicably would be resurrected upon dying.  This revival ability was thought to be due to demon realm she was trapped in, but is in fact a latent power the girl had somehow had or developed, born from her determination to escape.  Attempts to be freed from the hellish dimension proved futile, and she learned that time also passed much slower inside; an eternity in the hellscape translating to an instant on Earth and only at "the end of times" would the way to Earth be opened.

But rather than despair and break, the humbled girl resolved to live in spite of and to spite every setback, and one day she seemed to be freed as the hellscape destroyed itself... only to find herself in not an apocalyptic future, but the apocalyptic past of Demon's Souls; the Old One's distortions of time and space to blame.  Since then, the girl adopted the name "Chopt" and resolved to not just "wait out" the countless millennia needed to reunite with her family, but fight against beings of darkness and chaos who would see her world never come into being.  Once she was afraid of demons; but she's long since earned the title Slayer of Demons.
